The City of Cedar Park utilizes the services of several specialized boards and commissions made up of citizen volunteers. These groups are responsible for a variety of functions, including parks & recreation, planning & zoning, tourism and more. Most boards and commissions meet monthly to discuss various projects, events, programs and other pertinent issues. Often the recommendations of the boards and commissions are presented to the City Council for final approval or adoption.
Most groups require applicants meet specific qualifications, and positions are appointed by the City Council. Follow the links to the left for more information on the function of these groups and also how you may volunteer to become a member.
