The Recreation Center will be closed on December 24 and 25 in observance of the Christmas Holiday.

Personal Training

Please contact [email protected] if you are interested in becoming a personal trainer at the Cedar Park Recreation Center.

Teen Fit (Instructional)

Learn equipment safety, proper gym etiquette and get the latest workout strategies. This instructional class is geared towards members ages 13 – 16 to provide access to weight room equipment, and is offered by appointment only.

Yoga

Yoga is a form of exercise with focus on breath and relaxation. All ages and levels are invited. Yoga is a great way to improve your posture, range of motion and functional strength. First class is free.

Times

  • Adult Yoga: Monday/Wednesday at 6:45 pm
  • Gentle Flow Yoga: Tuesday/Thursday at 10:30 am
  • Chair Yoga: Monday/Wednesday/Friday at 10:30 am
  • Community Yoga (Free): Saturday at 8:30 am
  • Beginner Yoga: Sunday at 5 pm

Line Dancing

A free class that is open to anyone who wants to learn how to line dance. It’s a fun class using all kinds of music. Learning basic steps like the vine, rock steps, waltz, weave and cha-cha. Every Monday Noon to 1 pm.

Tai-Chi

Improve balance and strength. Two classes offered every Wednesday at 1pm and 2pm. First class is free.

High Fitness

A fun new twist on traditional aerobics.  High Fitness consists of simplified aerobic moves with added HIIT, toning, and Barre moves mixed in.  We use music from all genres and decades.  It's fun, effective, and a great way to get your cardio in!  Monday/Wednesday/Friday at 9 am.

Dance Fit with Trish

Dance fitness program that is a mix of explosive dancing and boot camp toning.  Monday/Wednesday at 5:30 pm.

Upbeat Barre

Upbeat barre is a muscular endurance-based workout that fuses strength training, ballet, yoga, and pilates with popular music to create a sweaty, fun, and balanced workout with varying levels of intensity to include everyone.  Tuesday/Thursday at 9:00 am

Pickleball

Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. A great way to combine fun and exercise.

  • Monday: 8 am to Noon
    1. Beginner’s Pickleball from 1 to 3 pm
  • Tuesday: 8 am to Noon
  • Wednesday: 8 am to Noon
  • Thursday: 8 am to Noon
  • Friday: 8 am to Noon
