Bobbi has lived in Cedar Park since 2012 and she is proud to call Cedar Park home! Volunteering in her community is very important to Bobbi and she appreciates the opportunity to serve her fellow Cedar Park residents on the City Council. She has been married to Jon for 17 years and they have four children. Bobbi spent most of her professional career as an Operations Research Analyst at the Pentagon before leaving the workforce to raise a family. Now, Bobbi is enjoying her second career as a Realtor while also volunteering in her community in a variety of capacities.
Bobbi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and American Studies from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. Later, she earned her Master of Public Affairs degree from the University of Texas at Austin LBJ School of Public Affairs. During her undergraduate studies, Bobbi interned on Capitol Hill with the U.S. House of Representatives and during graduate school she concentrated on issues of national defense which led her to work at the Department of Defense in Washington, DC after earning her master’s degree.
Bobbi began serving on the City of Cedar Park’s Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Commission in 2020. She was elected Chair of the P&Z in 2021 and served in that capacity until her election to the City Council in May 2023. She also served as a representative on the pastoral council of her church, fundraising chair for her local cub scout troop, events coordinator for her school’s parent/teacher organization and a variety of other positions in school, church and community organizations.
Bobbi lives in the Walsh Trails subdivision and attends St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, reading, music, and supporting her kids in their extracurricular activities. Most of all, she enjoys travelling with her family and knowing that at the end of the trip, Cedar Park will always be home.
