Nanette McCartan has served as the City of Cedar Park's Utility Programs Manager since 2015. In this role she leads the City's Resource Efficiency Division, overseeing the City's four main areas of resource efficiency: Water, Solid Waste and Recycling, Air and Energy.
Prior to serving as Utility Programs Manager, served as the City's Utility Billing Manager for a decade. In that role she was responsible for overseeing all operations and functions of the Utility Billing Department. Prior to joining the City of Cedar Park in 2005, McCartan was employed at the Customer Service Supervisor for the City of Round Rock.
McCartan holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas State University in San Marcos and has more than 18 years’ experience in public service and utility billing. She also has earned the designation of Certified Public Manager from the William P. Hobby Center for Public Service of Texas State University and has also been designated as a Texas Municipal League 2014 Leadership Fellow.
Nanette resides in the Cedar Park area with her husband, Mark.
