Curt Randa joined the City of Cedar Park Parks and Recreation Department as the City’s first Urban Forester in 1999. Curt has been the Director of the Parks and Recreation Department since 2006. He is responsible for overseeing nearly 900 acres of parkland as well as 26 fulltime employees and nearly 150 part-time and seasonal employees in the areas of Aquatics, Recreation, Athletics, Special Events and Operations/Maintenance.
Curt has a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Nebraska and holds a certification as a Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP) from the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA).
Curt and his wife Lisa moved to Central Texas in 1985 and have lived in Cedar Park for 18 years. They have two sons Max and Austin.
