In a proactive effort to reduce the number of new COVID-19 cases Williamson County Judge Bill Gravell and Travis County Judge Sarah Eckhardt have issued Stay Home Stay Safe Orders for all individuals in Williamson and Travis Counties. These two Orders cover all of Cedar Park.  The Orders take effect at 11:59 p.m. on March 24, 2020, and will continue through 11:59 p.m. on April 13, 2020, subject to the limited exceptions. Hours: Monday - Thursday: 5 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday 5 a.m.-9 p.m., Saturday: 8 a.m.-8 p.m., Sunday 1-6 p.m.

Amenities: This 47,500 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility houses two full court gymnasiums, cardio/weight workout areas, group exercise rooms, meeting rooms, game rooms, babysitting room, arts & crafts room, and an elevated walking/jogging track. Activities are offered year-round for children and adults

Classes/programs offered at the Cedar Park Recreation Center:

PERSONAL TRAINING 
One on one personal customized training with a certified personal trainer for individuals, groups, and seniors.
By appointment only.


TEEN & ADULT FIT 
(Instructional)
Learn equipment safety, proper gym etiquette and get the latest workout strategies.  This instructional is taught by personal trainers by appointment only.


YOGA (Regular Yoga, Gentle Flow Yoga, & Chair Yoga)

Yoga is a form of exercise with focus on breath and relaxation.  All ages and levels are invited.  Yoga is a great way to improve your posture, range of motion and functional strength.  *One free class per person is permissible*. Adult Yogais offered Mon./Wed. at 6:45 p.m., Gentle Flow Yoga is offered Tues./Thurs. at 10:30 a.m. Chair Yoga is offered Mon./Wed. at 1:30 pm, Beginner Yoga is offered Sun. at 5:00 p.m.

KINDERDANCE The original nationwide dance, motor development, gymnastics, and fitness program that combines academic readiness skills which are specifically designed for boys and girls ages 2-5. Kindertots (2), Kinderdance (3-5), Kindergym (3-5).  Classes are Saturdays; times vary.

 

LINE DANCING
Class is open to anyone who wants to learn how to line dance. It’s a fun class using all kinds of music. Learning basic steps; like the vine, rock steps, waltz, weave and cha-cha. Free Line Dancing class every Monday 12 p.m.-1 p.m.

 

TAI-CHI
Improve balance and strength.  Every Friday night at 6:45 pm, and 7:50 pm *One free class per person is permissible.

 

DANCE FIT WITH TRISH-

Zumba:  A fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves.  Zumba routines incorporate interval training alternating fast and slow rhythms to help improve cardiovascular fitness.

Zumba Toning:  Combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high energy cardio with the Latin infused Zumba moves using light weight dumbbells (no more than 3 lbs).

Mixxedfit:  A fitness program that mixes explosive dance moves with basic boot camp toning.  In this class you will hear all the current hits from the radio.  This class you will find yourself doing jumping jacks, squats, lunges etc. with simple explosive dance moves anyone can do.  

 

PICKLEBALL
Pickeball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong. A great way to combine fun and exercise. Mon.: 9 am - 11 am, Tues.: 8:30 am - 12 pm, Fri.:  8:30 am - 12 pm.
