The Lakeline Park property consists of approximately 200 acres of undeveloped land in south Cedar Park. Public meetings for the park master plan were held on April 5, 2018, June 19, 2018 and August 27, 2018 and online surveys were issued to gather public input on park features. In December 2018, the Cedar Park City Council adopted the Lakeline Park Master Plan.
The first phase of the park is now under design, with construction of the first phase anticipated to begin in 2020. The first phase of the park will focus primarily on the development of features on the north side of the park and is anticipated to include: a multi-purpose pavilion for performing arts, a playground, great lawn, kayak launch, fishing pier, pavilions of varying sizes, multi-purpose practice fields, wildflower meadows, restrooms and parking. The first phase is also anticipated to include over 3 miles of trails, including a loop trail around the lake.
