Kevin Riley has served the City of Cedar Park as Multimedia Specialist since 2016. As a member of the Media and Communications Office, his role consists of assisting with the City’s public and media relations, providing and editing content for the City’s website, photography, and videography of City events and producing content for the City’s government access cable channel CPTV-10. Kevin can often be seen at City Council and other public meetings, running audio/video equipment and the live broadcasts and internet streams of the meetings.
Kevin’s work for the City of Cedar Park helped earn the City three prestigious TAMI Awards (first place) from the Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers (TAMIO) during his first year of working here.
Prior to joining the City, Kevin worked for KEYE-TV from 2007 to 2016 as a photojournalist. Before coming to Central Texas, he was a photojournalist for television stations in Tyler-Longview and Beaumont. As a television news photojournalist Kevin’s work earned him two awards from the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters, among other awards. Riley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Houston and is a member of TAMIO and the Texas Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (TATOA).
Kevin enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and their two young children.
