Also on June 3 the Library will hold a Touch-A-Truck event from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., so kids and families can explore some awesome City of Cedar Park trucks, construction vehicles, and more!

This year the Summer Reading Club is all online!  Register at and begin logging your minutes on June 3!  For every 200 minutes they read, kids can come into the library to claim a prize pack with a colored cut-out to display in the library’s window and special incentive coupons! Teen prizes are earned for every 300 minutes read.  Audiobooks, newspapers and magazines from the library also count for reading minutes.

Adults are encouraged to participate, too.  For every 400 minutes read, an entry form for a drawing prize is earned.  Thanks to the support of sponsors such as the Alamo Drafthouse, Whitestone Brewery, Bent Oak Winery, and other local area merchants,  there are many terrific prizes to choose from!

In addition to the library’s regular storytimes, there will be special performers for Toddlers/Preschoolers on Tuesdays, weekly family movies on Tuesday afternoons, a Just for Tweens program on Wednesdays, special performers for elementary-aged children on Thursdays, and teen activities on Saturdays.  There are also special programs for adults! A complete calendar of events is available at the library or online at

Daycares/Summer Camps: Please call the Library at 512-401-5600 if you are interested in visiting the Library.  Due to space restrictions, groups larger than 8 cannot be accommodated at our special performers on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
