Behavior Guidelines: Library users are encouraged to be safe and respectful while using the Library and library materials. Users may be asked to leave and/or lose Library privileges for any behavior that is inappropriate, disruptive or dangerous.

Child Safety Guidelines (PDF): Parents and guardians are responsible for their children at all times on Library premises.

Collection Development Policy (PDF): As responsible stewards of public resources, Library staff selects and maintains a Collection of educational, informational, cultural, and recreational resources that promote literacy and lifelong learning for all members of the community.

Computer Use Terms and Conditions (PDF): For all public computers at the Library.

Privacy Statement: The Cedar Park Public Library is committed to the protection of all Library customers' rights to privacy in the use of Library resources and discloses customer information to the customer only. Records of customer transactions are kept only as long as is required to collect administrative statistics and then are erased. Library records will only be disclosed under court order, subpoena, or warrant as outlined in the state statute, Texas Government Code, Section 552.124 and the surveillance provisions included in the USA PATRIOT ACT (Public Law 107-56).
