Hi Cedar Park library users,

The City of Cedar Park has a phased approach to reopening City facilities and amenities, just as the State of Texas is using its own phased approach for Reopening Texas.  Your health and safety are our top priorities, so we’ve been carefully assessing and adjusting our facilities and increasing staff training – according to CDC guidelines – and implementing other health and safety measures in order to align with protocols outlined by the Governor.

    Curbside Pickup for Hold Items

    • Monday - Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
    • Friday - Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 
    • Sunday: 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

    • Monday - Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
    • Friday - Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
    • Sunday: 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

What is available?

  • A “grab and go” library
    • You can visit briefly (30 minutes)
    • All parts of the collection are accessible 
    • Return materials through the drive-thru 24/7
    • Pick up holds from the Holds Shelf
    • Use the self-service check out station
  • Curbside hold pick-up still available
    • Place holds on material, we will pull your holds, and then let you know when they are available for pickup. We'll bring them out to your car when you come to the Library.
  • Staff assistance:
    • We can help you find your next great read
    • We can help you find resources and library materials
    • We can help you with your account questions
    • We can help you get digital materials
  • Remote Printing is available 
  • At-Risk-Only hours:
    • Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.
  • Virtual library programs will continue!
  • Inter-Library Loan is available. Expect delivery delays.

  • Seating is not available 
  • Technology:
    • Computers are not available
    • Faxing is not available
    • Copier & scanner not available
  • In-person programs or meetings not available
  • Meeting room rentals not available (possible alternatives here)
  • Cafe and vending area not available
  • Study rooms not available
  • Donations of materials not currently accepted
  • Volunteer opportunities not currently available
  • Toys and iPads in the youth area not available
  • We cannot issue or renew TexShare cards per the Texas State Library (options for purchasing a CPPL membership here)

The library space and services have both been modified based on social distancing and public health guidelines.

  • Face masks required when you can’t maintain physical distance Info
  • The number of library users in the building will be limited to 50% of the occupancy capacity (202).
  • Please do a self-health check before you come to the library and stay home if you’re not feeling well.
  • Hand sanitizer and wipes are available throughout the building. 
  • Follow CDC guidelines: wash hands, cover coughs and sneezes, don’t touch face, and face masks required (available upon request).
  • Please allow 6 feet of space between you and other library users.
