Major Projects

The Parke Economic Development - the Parke-1
The Parke is the latest major retail project in Cedar Park. Endeavor Real Estate has developed a 400,000+ SF retail center just North of Costco on the west side of 183A. The project is anchored by Whole Foods new 365 Store. Other tenants include DSW Shoes, Nordstrom Rack, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Old Navy and other nationally- recognized retailers.

Firefly Aerospace 
Firefly Aerospace moved into 30,000 sf of space in La Jaita Business Park where they will design and manufacture missiles for the deployment of low orbit satellites. Once fully operational, Firefly Aerospace will employ more than 150 people.

Voltabox Economic Development - Voltabox-1
Voltabox is a subsidiary of Paragon AG, which is a tier 1 automotive supplier in Europe. Voltabox moved into its new 22,000 sf facility in 2015 where the company designs and produces high performance lithium battery packs for commercial applications ranging from public transportation to industrial equipment. Voltabox employs around 50 people. The facility also serves as the company's North American headquarters.

The largest Costco Wholesale facility in the Central Texas region opened in 2013 on the northwest corner of RM 1431 and the 183A Tollway. The 153,700 square-foot wholesale club membership retail facility generates over $130 million in annual sales, and features bakery, deli, meat, produce, bed and bath, electronics departments, as well as a gas station, optometry office, hearing aid center, pharmacy, tire center, and liquor store. Costco is the major anchor of the Cedar Park Town Center project, which has an additional 150,000 square of retail and restaurants including In-N-Out Burger, BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, Chipotle Grill, Zoe’s Kitchen, Jersey Mike’s and At Home. 

Fallbrook Technologies Fallbrook Sign
Fallbrook Technologies relocated its Corporate Headquarters to Cedar Park from California in 2012. Fallbrook Technologies, which already employs over 75 workers at its existing research and development/fabrication/test and manufacturing facilities in Cedar Park, is a clean energy company that uses its propriety NuVinci® technology to improve the performance and efficiency of transmissions for the automotive, electric vehicle, bicycle and wind markets.

ETS-Lindgren Economic Development - ETS-1
In 2010 Cedar Park City Council authorized the City’s participation in the Texas Enterprise Zone Program. This program allows for municipalities to designate zones or projects for the State’s Enterprise program which provides tax relief for qualified applicants. ETS-Lindgren, an advanced manufacturer providing testing equipment to the wireless industry was the City’s first Enterprise Project. ETS-Lindgren has committed to over $6 million in new investment in the area, and will see its employment grow to 240 jobs.

H-E-B Center at Cedar Park Economic Development - HEB Center-1
The $55 million Cedar Park Center opened in 2009 with a sold out George Strait concert. To date, the 6,800 seat multi-purpose event center owned by the City of Cedar Park has hosted more than 650 events with over 1,500,000 attendees in the first six years of operating. In March 2016 Texas grocery giant H-E-B entered into a naming rights agreement and the Cedar Park Center became known as H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, is the anchor tenant in the building playing over 40 home games a year. The Center is also the home of the Austin Spurs, the NBA D-league team of the San Antonio Spurs, who play 24 regular season games at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park. In 2018, The Austin Wild Indoor Football Team announced they will play their homes games at the Center as part of a three-year commitment. The arena also hosts numerous family events, such as concerts/live entertainment, rodeo, ice shows, basketball, graduations and more.

1890 Ranch Economic Development - 1890-1
1890 Ranch is Cedar Park’s largest lifestyle center, at just over 900,000 SF. 1890 Ranch opened in May 2008, and is anchored by Super Target, Cinemark Movie Theater, Office Max, Academy Sports and Gold’s Gym. The project was developed by Endeavor Real Estate Group of Austin, developer of the Domain in Austin, and is located at the intersection of 1431 and the new north/south commuter toll road, 183A.

Economic Development - Corvalent-1Corvalent Corporation relocated all of their operations from Morgan Hill, CA in 2008 to Cedar Park, Texas. Corvalent Corporation occupies a 24,000 square foot building in Arrow Point Business Park and employs 50 knowledge industry workers. Founded in 1993, the company is a designer and manufacturer of PC-based embedded boards, motherboards and systems for embedded and industrial applications. Corvalent Corporation is a member of the Intel® Communications Alliance and an ISO 9001:2000 certified company.

Cedar Park Regional Hospital
Economic Development - CPRMC-1Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, a joint venture of Community Health Systems and the Seton Family of Hospitals, opened in December 2007. The Medical Center features state-of-the-art surgical suites and user-friendly patient rooms, as well as professional medical office buildings. The hospital employs more than 600 healthcare professionals and operates 75 beds with the capability to expand to 150 beds in the future. Cedar Park Regional Medical Center boasts advanced surgical and patient facilities, emergency facilities and physicians in more than 25 specialties.
