Thursday, January 26, 2023

Ages 12-18

Get ready for life's twists and turns at this How to Adult series for teens ages 12-18, featuring a different life skill each month.

This month, Library Generalist Amanda Perez will lead you through all the tips and tricks for effective study skills. Before working at the library, Amanda, a former JET (Japan Exchange and Teaching) participant, tutored university students in writing, taught English as an assistant teacher internationally and led teacher training seminars for the city of Kitakyushu, Japan. She has taught English, writing, test prep, and teaching methodologies to students ages 5-65.

Next month on February 23 at 6:30 p.m., learn "How to Not Break Your Car" with Nick Long, Field Operations Superintendent with the City of Cedar Park.
