Jennet Sullivan
Jennet joined the Cedar Park Police Department in June 2006. From 2006 to 2016 she held various roles in the Public Safety Communications Division, including Dispatcher, Communications Training Officer, and Supervisor. In August of 2016 Jennet moved to the role of Accreditation and Compliance Coordinator. As the Accreditation and Compliance Coordinator, Jennet works with sworn and civilian members across all ranks within the department, and across the region. She performs a wide variety of administrative and analytical duties including research, compliance audits, data analysis, report writing, and development of policies and procedures. She strives to ensure the Cedar Park Police Department remains at the forefront of law enforcement excellence. Predominantly, this is accomplished through the attainment and maintenance of our Recognized Status through the Texas Police Chief’s Association (TPCA) as well as our Accredited Status through the Commission of Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, INC (CALEA). As a dual accredited agency, these accrediting bodies provide the Police Department with both state and national standards. The best practices of law enforcement across the nation are combined and attained, with dual accredited status since May 4, 2019.
Jennet obtained her Associate’s Degree in General Education from Modesto Junior College in 2001 (go Pirates!), and received her Master Telecommunicator License in May 2014 through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. She is a proud member of the Cedar Park Peer Support Team.
Jennet is a passionate advocate for Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault awareness/prevention, and enjoys teaching on those topics.
Any free time she has is spent reading about (and going on) adventures with her husband and two young sons.
