Tours & Demonstrations

To schedule a tour or demonstration, please fill out our online forms below. We will need the date and location you would like to tour so the correct contact information can be given to you to set up the appointment. Tours are given at all stations, and are tailored for the appropriate age group touring the station If you have questions, you can call 512-401-5220 between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm to talk with Susan Yount. 

Please keep in mind that the department has regular job duties and training sessions, so the tours must be planned in advance and scheduled around the department activities.

For children under the age of 10, we request that there be 1 adult chaperone per 4 children.

Department Ride Alongs

Civilians may request a ride along with an engine company. The purpose of this opportunity is to demonstrate what a firefighter encounters on a regular shift. Civilians must be at least 18 years old to sign up to ride with the Fire Department.
