Overview

The Human Resources Department serves our community by providing departmental support with the intent to attract and retain a professional, diverse and highly-qualified workforce. We strive to promote and uphold the City's Core Values through our decisions and in our actions ensuring the delivery of exceptional public service to our citizens. The Human Resources Department is primarily responsible for compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, recruiting, compensation, training and development, labor relations, benefits administration, risk management, and Civil Service administration.
