Smart911 is a smartphone application linked with the 911 system. This application allows people to enter the information they want that 911's operators have in case of emergency. When a person that has a profile calls 911, the operator has access to the information previously recorded as well as police, firefighters and doctors.
Center for Public Safety Excellence
The Center for Public Safety Excellence, Inc. (CPSE) helps public safety agencies around the world streamline and improve the services they provide their communities. CPSE accredits fire and emergency service agencies and credentials fire and emergency service officers at all levels. Cedar Park Fire Department obtained accredited status initially in August 2014, and again in August of 2019.
Texas Commission on Fire Protection
The Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) was created in 1991 to develop professional standards and to enforce statewide fire laws to assist local governments in ensuring that the lives and property of the public and fire service providers are adequately protected from fires and related hazards.

Its vision is to help save lives and reduce loss with information, knowledge and passion.
Texas A&M Forest Service
Texas A&M Forest Service (TFS) is also one of the lead agencies for incident management in the state. From the initial response to ongoing recovery, the agency strives to protect Texas from wildfire and other types of disasters. TFS does this by not only fighting wildfire and responding to incidents, but also by building capacity and increasing public awareness about community protection and wildfire prevention.
Firewise USA
The Firewise USA program teaches people how to adapt to living with wildfire and encourages neighbors to work together and take action now to prevent losses.
