Computer Use

The Library has computers available for use by the public. A Library Card or Visitor Day Pass is required to log on to the computers. Children's Area computers may be used by children and adults who are accompanied by children, with first priority given to children.

Computer use and internet access are free.

Printing & Scanning / Faxing

You can print from the Library's computers or from your own computer or mobile device, from the Library or your own home. To print from your own device, visit our Printing Interface page. Documents are only available for pickup during Library open hours and will expire if not retrieved within three hours of submission. A self-service scan/fax station is available for public use.

Costs for printing and scanning are as follows:

  • Printing:
    • Black and white: $0.10 per page
    • Color: $0.50 per page
  • Scanning/Faxing: Free

Web Conferencing

Patrons may use the computer in the Study Room for web conferencing. For information on reserving this room, visit our Using a Room page. A webcam and video conferencing software are available.

Wireless Internet / Wi-Fi Porch

There are no fees or passwords required to use the Library's wireless internet. We even have a comfortable Internet Café where you can access the internet from your personal device surrounded by art by local artists. The Internet Café is open to the public during the Library's open hours.

The Library's Wi-Fi Porch is available 24/7 and is complete with electrical outlets and seating. The Wi-Fi Porch is located both in the front of the building (wheelchair accessible) and along the north side of the Library. There are also several parking spots with Wi-Fi access.

The Wi-Fi Porch is funded by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services through a grant to the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (Grant Number #LS‐246561‐OLS‐20).
