STEAM Spring Break Camps

Join us this spring break for engaging and empowering camps addressing 3D tech & design, creative writing, and speech & debate. Campers will be immersed in a research and imaginative environment for learning. See below for more details and follow the registration link for specifics on each camp.

Snapology

Snapology uses LEGO to approach children's learning while actively designing, creating, interacting, and inventing. Snapology activities encourage social skills and teamwork while teaching science, technology, engineering, art, math, and literacy concepts.

Ultimate Frisbee Teen Clinic

Come learn to play ultimate frisbee! This is a beginner friendly youth clinic series that will teach participants the basics of all aspects of the sport. No previous ultimate or disc sports experience is necessary. Open to players ages 12 - 18. Coaching will be tailored to the experience level of each individual, so that all players whether brand new or experienced can learn and improve over the course of the clinic.

When: Tuesdays in April

Soccer Shots

Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program promoting age-appropriate skills and training. Join the best coaches in the business for soccer skills, character building, and fun!

Beginners Edge Sports Training - Spring Break Sports Camp

B.E.S.T. offers an all sports camp that should get any sports fan excited. Sports this spring break will include basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, track, and more! There are full-day and half-day option, as well as options for the full week or just single days.

Gavel Club

Join Toastmasters International and Cedar Park 4-H Club for Gavel Club, a speech class that promotes public speaking skills, confidence, and social skills. Participants will perform a series of short- and long-form speeches to a variety of topics.

Hooked on Fishing

Get hooked on fishing with Cedar Park Parks & Recreation! Youth will be taught a traditional tackle fishing method. Use one of our rods or bring your own. Children under 12 years old will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Scholarship Fund

The City of Cedar Park Parks and Recreation Department established a scholarship fund for Cedar Park area youth in need of recreational, life enhancement programs. The Youth Scholarship Program is designed to provide financial assistance to youth that may not otherwise be able to participate in youth activities.

Scholarships will be provided up to a maximum of $400 per family per fiscal year. The City's fiscal year runs from October 1st through September 30th. Scholarships will be available each year until funds are exhausted and may be applied towards swim lessons, or youth recreation center yearly pass.

Families interested in applying may download the Youth Scholarship Application Form (PDF) and submit it to the Parks and Recreation Office with all required documentation as outlined on the application form.
