Using a Room Simple

The Library has 2 rooms available for public use.

Study Room

  • Accommodates up to 8 people
  • One use per day, 3-hour maximum time slots
  • Available to resident and paid library accounts only (not available for TexShare card holders)
  • Users under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Has a computer and web conferencing equipment available for use
  • There is no charge for the use of this room
  • Reservations will be held for 15 minutes before being canceled as a no-show
  • Reserve the room up to 2 days in advance
  • The person making the reservation must be present during the appointment

Community RoomLibrary Community Room

  • Accommodates seated 75 people
  • The minimum rental time is 2 hours, with each additional hour priced separately
  • Folding tables and chairs are available
  • Room rentals are only available during regular Library hours which are as follows:
    • Monday through Thursday: 9 A.M. to 9 P.M.
    • Friday through Saturday: 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.
    • Sunday: 1 to 6 P.M.

Definitions:

Resident/Non-Resident

  1. Resident = Own or rent a residence inside the City of Cedar Park Taxing District
  2. Non-Resident = Live outside the City of Cedar Park Taxing District

Group types

  1. General use. All uses not included in subsections (2) and (3) below, including, but not limited to: private lesson groups, private educational institutions, or any individual, organization or business that stands to receive personal or corporate gain from the use of the facility.
  2. Nonprofit. Organizations meeting the definition of “nonprofit corporation” in accordance with the Texas Business Organizations Code section 22.001(5), as amended.
  3. Youth-oriented and senior groups. Organizations serving a member constituency of children, adolescents or seniors including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H, AARP, Family Eldercare, etc.

    • Your room reservation is not final until you sign a contract and pay for your reservation. 
    • Room availability is very limited. Look for potential alternatives on the Visit Cedar Park website
    • Room requests are processed on a first come, first served basis
    • Staff will respond to your request within 3 to 5 business days
    • All reservations are subject to the City of Cedar Park priority status for City use. The City may, without notice, preempt any reservation of the rooms
