Kristyne Bollier was elected to City Council in May 2016, after serving as an appointed City Council Member since August 2015 to fill the seat vacated by longtime City Council Member Donald J. Tracy. Before serving on the City Council, Kristyne was a member of Cedar Park Bond Advisory Task Force and Tourism Board.
Kristyne brings over 18 years of management experience in various industries including hi-tech, management consulting, state government, and entrepreneurship. A Senior Manager with Cisco Systems for over nine years, Kristyne has a strong background in project management, software development, and mergers and acquisition. Prior to joining Cisco, Kristyne spent over six years with BMC Software in various program management roles that required daily interactions with customers, vendors, and partners.
Kristyne started her career with the Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission and worked in the Budget office for over four years before joining Deloitte Consulting where she focused on financial systems implementation for state agencies. She has a successful track record of transforming large organizations through technology, process re-engineering, and change management activities.
Although not a Texan by birth, Kristyne considers herself an adopted Texan. Kristyne and her parents immigrated to the United States from Vietnam in 1975 and started a new life in Jefferson City, Missouri and later Houston, Texas. She attended Trinity University in San Antonio where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management. She later received a Master’s degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas.
Kristyne resides with her husband and their three children in the Ranch at Brushy Creek subdivision in east Cedar Park and attends service at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
