Media & Communications Office
The Media and Communications Manager serves as the chief liaison between the City of Cedar Park and the news media. The Media & Communications Office is responsible for the creation, dissemination and circulation of City news, promotion of Cedar Park in the media, and management of government access cable channel CPTV-10, City website, and the City's social networking outlets. Other responsibilities include photography for special events, advertisement design and placement, creation of publications, marketing, and branding.
In addition to the aforementioned areas, Media & Communications serves as a liaison between the community and the City when important issues and special situations arise. In this role, the Media & Communications Office helps communicate to the City the interests of citizens and other stakeholders as well as the City’s position to such groups, in an effort to reach fair decisions and middle ground for everyone involved.
